Why We Have a Spay/Neuter Contract
Jewel
Jewel is a black/tan long coat German Shepherd with a very sweet temperament. She is a large German Shepherd and above the AKC standard for size at around 26.5" at the shoulder, 80 pounds and still filling out at the age of 23 months with an estimated full grown weight of 90 pounds.
Jewel has been OFA prelimed at 20 months, as well as Pennhipped at age 20 months with no signs of degenerative joint disease. Jewel has also had a Trypsin-Like Immunoreactivity test and found to be normal at 7.5 UG/L. The normal range is 5 UG/L - 35 UG/L. Tryspin-Like Immunoreactivity (TLI) aids in the diagnosis of canine exocrine pancreatic insufficiency (EPI), TLI values of less than 2.5 UG/L support the diagnosis of EPI.
Jewel's pedigree consists of larger dogs - a mixture American type old fashioned German Shepherd lines along with West German showlines. Some names in Jewel's pedigree include: Salhaus Royal Crown Jewel, Black Magic's Romeo, Jasmin Hill's Restles Spirit, Black Magic's Good Karma, Sig Draco Von Canaan, Irish's Kindred Heart, Rosco Vom Fleisherheim, Vimo Vom Fiemereck, Penny Von Isidora.
