Rayne
Rayne is a black/silver long coat German Shepherd with a very sweet personality and loves to talk to you! She is the alpha female of the house, does extremely well with our small children and is an excellent and attentive mother to her puppies. At 4 years old, Rayne is 27 1/2" at the shoulder and weighs about 95 pounds on average. Even though she is a large-boned German Shepherd and above the AKC standard for size, she still remains feminine in appearance. She has a level topline with no extreme angulation, typical of "old style" German Shepherds.
Rayne's pedigree consists of American and mostly "Shiloh" type old fashioned German Shepherd lines. Males from her litter, as well as some of the females, have weighed in excess of 20+ pounds at 8 weeks of age, with some maturing to 130 pounds. Pictures below taken in our yard between August and November 2006.
